Clarity Craft Club 2025 lookback – April

Hello everyone. I’ve got some pretty florals for you today thanks to the April stamps from Clarity’s monthly Craft Club. Rather than use the two main stamps to form a floral circle, I’ve opted instead to stamp one of them along the edge of an inked panel. If you want to see how they looked as a circle, here’s the link to the card I made earlier this year.

So, for this one I started with a piece of card cut to fit on an A6 card blank and brushed ‘tumbled glass’ Distress Oxide in from the left edge. I then sponged ‘peacock feathers’, ‘evergreen bough’ & ‘uncharted mariner’ Distress Oxides onto the floral stamp and planted it along the top half of the shaded edge. I reinked it again, turned the stamp round and added it to the bottom part of the topper.

The flowers didn’t quite fill the length of the panel, so I added in one of the small separate blooms at the top, centre & bottom with ‘tumbled glass’. I then simply stamped one of the I Am Essential – Birthday sentiments onto it and attached the topper to the A6 card blank.

It’s always good to look at stamps and think about how they can be used differently, rather than in the obvious format – it gives so much more life to your stash. My idea for this came from the current sketch at Sunday Stamps combined with the beautiful palette at AAA Colourful.
