Clarity Craft Club 2025 lookback – March

Hello friends and welcome to the next installment of my journey back through this year’s Clarity Craft Club stamps. It’s day 3, so here’s the March stamp – a lovely little set of butterflies and insects. After yesterday’s journey into the world of fun folds, I’m back in my happy CAS place with today’s design!

Taking a piece of white card (cut to approx 4″ square) I masked off a panel with low tack tape. I sponged ‘shaded lilac’ Distress Oxide onto the circle stamp and planted it onto the panel. I then did the same with ‘kitsch flamingo’, then once more in each colour to fill the length of the panel.

It was looking a bit inspid at this point, so I pulled out another of my Colour Cube cards to find some co-ordinating colours, adding the small single butterfly and the ladybird in ‘picked raspberry’ and the little bee in ‘ripe persimmon’. One thing about sponging ink onto stamps is that it mutes the tones down, so these are lovely soft colours.

I simply ran a pink Sharpie around the edges of the topper, added a sentiment from the I Am Essential – Birthday (currently on offer in Clarity’s Big Boxing Day Sale) and attached it to a 5×5 card blank.

Clarity’s Big Sale isn’t the only thing on offer at the moment – it’s the perfect time to join one (or more) of their Craft Clubs as there’s double loyalty points on subscriptions before the end of 2025 (midnight on 31st December). While you’re thinking about that, I’m off to share this card with Triple B (thanks to the butterflies) and Color Dare for their pastels theme. And if you want to check out what I did with these stamps last time, here’s the link to that post.
