Hello everyone. It’s been a damp grey day here, so I thought I’d inject a bit of wintery atmosphere with the latest stamp from Clarity’s Craft Club the fab little ‘Let It Snowman’. I sat him in a chilly scene from the Landscapes by Barbara toppers set.

The first step was to find a suitable topper for my background – I then stamped the snowman onto it (that meant I had the placement decided and didn’t have to worry about his arms when cutting out his body!)

I stamped the snowman again, this time onto Clarity’s super smooth paper. I then used the infill stamps to add his hat in ‘black soot’ Distress Oxide and his scarf & carrot nose with ‘saltwater taffy’. I then fussy cut him (minus the arms) and glued him onto the landscape topper with Pritt stick.

I stamped the the two sentiments from the set onto the topper and scribbled some snowdrifts with a fine white Posca pen. I then scattered some ultra high white embossing powder from WOW onto the background and heated it for a snow shower – when doing this, you need to hold the card completely flat and heat from underneath, otherwise you’ll lose the powder from the card as there’s no ink for it to adhere to! To finish, I added a couple of strips of companion paper down the sides of a 6×6 card blank and sat the topper in the centre.

No sign of white Christmas here, although the temperature is set to drop over the next few days. I’m going to share this little chap with Double D for their snowman theme.
