Linda’s floral rounds

Hello everyone. I’ve been busy prepping demos today, as I’m back on Clarity Social TV tomorrow (Friday) with a brand new collection of stamps – Linda’s Floral Rounds. It’s been a while, as I haven’t done a show since before I went off travelling in Australia, so I’m looking forward to an exciting day. I decided to showcase some of the beautiful images via designer paper and die cut apertures.

The first step was to cut an 8×8 card blank into half to give me a top fold, then cut a piece of stencil card slightly smaller. I used one of the nested circle picot dies to cut three apertures into it. I then stamped three outline images onto a piece of Antarctica designer paper and added a little shading with Pergaliner pencils, before trimming them down and mounting them onto die cut circles of card – these needed to be larger than the apertures so that I had the surround to glue them into place.

And that was my next step… I ran glue onto the white card around the images, then lined the aperture over each image in turn to attach it to the reverse.

I covered the card blank with a piece of Antarctica companion paper, then attached the topper to it. The final piece was to add the sentiment above each aperture.

I’m sharing this in the galleries at Just Us Girls, where they’re celebrating their 800th challenge with an ‘anything goes’ theme and at Make My Monday who want birthday cards with at least one flower. And I do hope you’ll be able to join me on Clarity’s YouTube channel at 10am & 2pm tomorrow to see these stamps in action!
