Hello friends. I’m just dropping in with a quick scheduled post for the new sketch challenge at As You See It and the new Clarity Street stamps proved to be perfect for it (as you can see I rotated the sketch for my card).

So, here’s the quick rundown on my process. I stamped three of these fab houses onto an A5 card blank in landscape orientation, using black Archival ink and then shaded them with Pergaliner pencils. I kept my colouring quite loose on the houses to try and give the effect of texture on the walls.

There are some fab little cat images amongst all the additional accent stamps in the collection too, and I sat one on each doorstep to pick up the dots in the sketch. I then simply added one of the I Am Essential birthday sentiments and it was finished – all on a one layer card.

Do check out the inspiration from my AYSI design team-mates over on the blog – there’s so much potential for how you can use this sketch.

Now that is one very clever way to use the sketch! I love that you’ve added cats for the circle elements.
