Love in Paris

Hello crafty friends. I’m back with another take on the new Sketchy stamps from Clarity and. as Paris is the City of Love, it felt only right to do an engagement card for one of my samples, which also fits the ‘anything goes’ option at Simply Clean & Simple.

I dug a scrap of an inky mop-up out of my folder (haven’t used any of these for a while)and stamped the smaller Eiffel Tower onto it with ‘watering can’ Archival ink. I then added the couple from the Wee Folk set 1, this time using black Archival.

You may be able to just make out above that you can see the outline of the Tower through the couple, so I added a little ore depth to them with a black Sharpie (doing it very carefully!) and then stamped one of the essential sentiments. I glued a narrow strip of black card down each edge of the topper and attached it to a 5×5 card blank.

Thanks for dropping in. It’s getting very hot here again over the next couple of days, so I’ll be staying in my craft room with the fan on!
