Hello everyone. I’ve got another of my samples with the new Christmas Build a Landscape stamps to share today – trying to get back onto my regular weekly Christmas card sharing routine after this weekend’s seasonal flurry! I’ve gone with a classic design based on the sketch from AAA Cards (with a couple of tweaks) plus the one layer theme at ABC Christmas.

So, here’s what I did.
Taking a 5×5 card blank, I masked off a rectangle (rather than AAA’s oval) with low tack tape, positioned one of the hills masks across it, popped a mini moon in place and blended ‘blueprint sketch’, ‘chipped sapphire’ and a little ‘black soot’ Distress Oxides into the sky. I then repositioned the mask further down the landscape and sponged a little ‘tumbled glass’ across it to create my snowy ground.

I then simply stamped the stag and a few of the trees from the landscape set into my little scene.

Having removed all the tape, I added the sentiment from one of the Baubles sets, then grabbed my fine white Posca pen for the stars and snow on the trees.

Not sure what happened with this final picture – it’s a bit out of focus, but hopefully you can get a good sense of the finished product!
