lemon tree garden

Hello friends. I’m busy getting ready for my shows on Clarity Social TV tomorrow (Friday) at 10am & 2pm, but wanted to give you a quick peek at some of the stamps I’ll be showcasing (and hopefully whet your appetite!) We’ll be spending the afternoon In The Garden with Linda’s stamps, so I’m starting it off with a look at the Lemon Tree set and the fab summerhouse, which fits with the ‘anything goes’ theme at Allsorts challenge

I started with an inky mop-up piece of stencil card from my stash that had lovely tones of blue, pink & green on it. I stamped the tree and sign into place, then masked off the sign and stamped the summerhouse to sit behind it.

I then set about colouring the images with my trusty Pergaliner pencils – I kept the shading quite rough over the summerhouse & tree trunk to try and give it the appearance of wood.

After adding the sentiment, I cut the topper down using a square nested die and mounted it on a layer of Antarctica companion paper that I’d cut with the Film Strip nested doodle frame-it panel die. I created a frame on the front of a 7×7 card blank with the largest of the square embedders and then sat my topper inside it.

So we’re kicking off the day at 10am tomorrow with tea & coffee on the first show, then heading out at 2pm to spend the afternoon in the garden with these brilliant stamps from Linda! I hope you can join me & Paul on Clarity Social TV.
