Hello crafty friends. I’ve got another of my samples from the recent launch of Clarity’s large SHAC people stamps and this time I went with a bit of paper piecing against an inky mop-up background. I’ve picked up the ‘summer vibes’ theme from Inspire.Create and the new ‘garden’ theme at Make My Monday to pull it all together.

I found an inky background in my stash (no surprise there!) with lovely shades of blue and pink and stamped my SHAC lady onto it using Versafine Clair black ink. I stamped her again on an offcut of Amazonia designer paper and fussy cut her dress, hat and face, gluing them all onto the main piece.

I gave her a bit of ground to stand on by sponging a little of the black ink across a torn piece of copy paper, then stamped the plants from the woodland miniatures set either side of her. I added a mount cut from black card with the hearts doodle frame-it panel die and found the perfect word sticker in the KISS collection. I used one of the nested square embedders to emboss a frame on the front of a 6×6 card blank and then sat the topper within it.

And that’s yet another background from my stash used up – not that it looks any smaller! I think I could craft for the next couple of years at least to have any hope of getting through them all!
