let’s go walking

Hello again! I’ve got more new goodies that are coming this week from Clarity Crafts on this card, this time additions to the Timestamp Creations collection that Clarity make for Janice Phillips from her fantastic photographs. This set is called lets go walking. I’ve pulled a couple of last minute challenges together on this one, combining the colours from Creative Colour Challenges and the sketch from Atlantic Hearts

I first cut a piece of card to fit on an A6 card blank, then sponged ‘gathered twigs’ and ‘peeled paint’ Distress Ink onto one of the stamps, using the brown to highlight the group of walkers.

I then masked off the walkers on the stamp (after cleaning it!), reinked it with the ‘peeled paint’ and stamped it again, offset from the first image. I pulled out the clouds mask from Clarity’s ‘build a scene‘ set and brushed ‘mermaid lagoon’ across it to create my sky.

I added the sentiment in the ‘gathered twigs’ plus three little leaves from Clarity’s ‘just woodland and birds’ stamp set, finishing with a mount of Indian summer companion paper.

These are great additions to the Timestamp Creations collection – I’ve got more to share later in the week.
