Love word framer

Hello friends! I realised that I hadn’t shared the last of my demos from the March Clarity Social TV shows, so here it is – better late than never! I’ve used the pretty Love Framer stamp set which is perfect for wedding, anniversary, engagement cards (or anyone else you love!) This card pulls in two of the word prompts (water & pastels) from Time Out‘s new challenge and I’ll also share it with Word Power challenge, who look for the sentiment to be the focal point of a card.

I started by cutting a square of stencil card to 4.25″ (10.8cm) and popped a mini moon mask into the centre (where the O of the stamp would be). I then brayered ‘picked raspberry’ and ‘broken china’ Distress Oxides onto Clarity’s small square backdrop stamp and stamped it centrally onto the stencil card – I find Clarity’s mega mounts very helpful for this, as you can line up the edges of teh card with the markings on the mount and go straight down with it after you’ve inked it.

I stamped the ‘love framer’ into place using black Versafine Clair ink and added the couple in the boat in ‘watering can’ Archival ink, so they looked a bit further into the distance – helpfully, the water on this stamp sits against the curve of the O. You can just see the hint of the moon in the sky above them and I added two of the birds from the stamp set also in black. After edging the topper with a black Sharpie, I glued some scrap card onto the reverse and attached it to a 5×5 card blank.

I know I’ve said it before, but I do love building little scenes within these word framer stamps!
