Hello friends! It’s the last week of March already, so I’ve been busy this afternoon prepping for my shows this Friday on Clarity Social TV – but more of that later in the week. I had great fun watching Clarity’s Barbara & Paul this afternoon (they’re hilarious together!) putting the ‘floral panel‘ stamps through their paces. I thought I would join in the party, pulling together the sketch from Just Add Ink and the lovely palette from Color Throwdown

I cut a piece of Clarity’s stencil card to a 10.5cm square and stamped the ‘joy – floral panel’ strip across the bottom. I decided not to use the infill stamp to colour instead, instead shading with Pergaliner pencils which are brilliant for blending together. I then filled in the sky area by brushing ‘tumbled glass’ Distress Oxide across Clarity’s ‘clouds’ mask, before adding one of the butterflies from the ‘Japanese flowers & butterflies sampler‘ set, once in ‘twisted citron’ and twice in ‘salty ocean’.

I stamped the sentiment from the set onto a scrap pice of white card, trimmed it down and attached it over the floral panel. After edging the topper with a black Sharpie and a ruler, I simply attached it to a 5×5 card blank.

All the floral panels (and the floral crescent stamps) are so pretty – it’s lovely to have an excuse to play with them again!
