Hello crafty friends. I realised that I hadn’t shared the last of my design team cards for the new Timestamp Creations collection that Clarity Crafts produced for Janice Phillips, so here it is using the ‘be kind, be patient‘ set. I’ve picked up the ‘rainbow’ theme from AAA Colourful thanks to this lovely piece of Clarity’s Waimea Falls designer paper

I started with the piece of designer paper cut to 10cm square and stamped the birds and twigs image across the bottom in black Archival ink, before drawing in pencil guidelines to add the frame. I found a suitable twiggy stamp in the ‘spring build-a-wreath’ set and simply repeat stamped that up each side and across the top.

I lightly sponged the black Archival across the bottom of the paper to ground the image, then added a mount of Waimea Falls companion paper and attached the whole piece to a black 6×6 card blank. The final touch was the sentiment from the set, and it was done!

I love the effects you can get just by choosing the right piece of designer paper – and it makes for easy card design too!
