Sending elf happiness

Hello there! Well, that first hour on Clarity Social TV just flew by (if you missed it, you can catch up on Clarity’s YouTube channel here). These elf stamps are just such fun to play with, I thought I’d share one of the demos from thie first show with you, using the ‘elf billboard‘ stamps & dies with the Christmas Papers.

I started by stamping one of the billboard images onto a piece of stencil card, then cut it out with the co-ordinating die. I find it easier to do it this way round, rather than stamp onto the die cut, as I can line the die up exactly around my stamped image. I added the sentiment onto the billboard and then coloured everything using Pergaliner pencils.

I covered a 5×7 card blank with a piece of the Christmas Papers, but then wanted to jazz it up a bit. I wasn’t sure about colouring the little lights, so instead went over then all with a Quickie glue pen and scattered Pergaglitter over it – gives them a lovely sparkle!

Having let the glue have time to dry (it takes a little while, as the paper is printed so not as porous as white card stock), I then simply glued some scrap card onto the back of my die cut to lift it a little and attached it to the card front.

Nice and simple, just the way I like it! I’m back on air shortly at 2pm – see you there!
