Gnorma

Hello crafty friends! Meet Gnorma, one of the fab Clarity Craftsletterbox gnomes’, who I’ll be showcasing live on YouTube tomorrow at 10am & 2pm, along with their elf cousins (and they’re all on offer in the Gray Friday sale!) I’ve been busy prepping my demos over the last couple of days, so hopefully I’ll have everything packed and not leave anything behind (although, as we’ll be at Clarity Towers they should be able to produce anything I’ve missed!)

I started with a 5×5 card blank and used a circle embedder to emboss a frame onto it. I stamped Gnorma (don’t know if that’s really her name, but it works for me!) into the circle and added one of ‘elves mini sentiments’ into her letterbox. I coloured her with Pergaliner pencils, then sponged a little ‘tumbled glass’ Distress Oxide across a torn piece of copy paper for the ground.

I found a snowflake stamp in the ‘family of gnomes’ set so scattered a snowstorm around her, again using the ‘tumbled glass’. I’m a bit addicted to glitter at the moment, so I highlighted the snowflakes and the ground with a Quickie glue pen and scattered Pergaglitter across it. Snow never feels quite so bad when it’s crisp and glittering, does it – not that we ever see that in London, our snow is always grey and slushy!

And that’s all there was to it! I’m going to share this offering with the challenges at Color Dare (I used their colours) and Sparkles Christmas who want snowflakes on our cards. See you tomorrow at 10am!
