Hello friends. I got struck down by a migraine yesterday, hence the lack of a post, but I’m going to make up for it with two today! This first offering uses one of the fantastic ‘Twas the night‘ stamps from ClarityCrafts that Barbara Gray is showcasing over on their YouTube channel today. I’ve used the layout from Freshly Made Sketches for this one, which obviously picks up the Christmas theme from Inspire.Create and the ‘stockings’ from Inspired by.

I started with a square of stencil card and brushed ‘walnut stain’ Distress Oxide through the ‘brick wall‘ stencil from the edges, leaving the centre clear. I could then stamp the image into the middle with b;ack Archival ink.

Out with my trusty Pergaliner pencils to shade in the image (love that little mouse having a snooze!)

I added a gold mount cut with one of the ‘film strip’ nested doodle frame-it panel dies, popped a strip of blue Waimea Falls companion paper across the front of a 6×6 card blank and sat the topper onto it.

I’m busy catching up with life after unexpectedly losing yesterday – there’s another card coming in a while!
