Hello friends and welcome to Sunday’s blog! I’ve got another look at one of ClarityCrafts‘ Christmas window stencils from Friday’s shows, this time paired with one of the ‘KISS Christmas wreaths’ stamps. I’ve channelled my inner Eileen Godwin on this design – she’s an absolute master at combining stencil & stamp images! I also picked up the ‘wreath’ theme from Inspired by and the ‘anything goes’ option from Stencil Fun

So, here’s what I did. I strated with a 6×6 piece of stencil card, attached the ‘candle window’ stencil to it (positioning it off centre to the left) and brushed ‘iced spruce’ and ‘wild honey’ Distress Inks through it.

I stamped one of the wreaths onto the card with ‘watering can’ Archival ink, then shaded it with a green Pergaliner pencil on the leaves and an orange Pergacolour pen to dot in the berries. THe sentimetn from the stamp set sat perfectly in the centre of the wreath.

All it then took was a narow mount of black card and a 7×7 card blank and it was done!

I think this design would work with any combination of the window sentiments and wreath stamps – more opportunities to play!

Such a serene view and love how this combines a feeling of both the true meaning and the beauty of Christmas
