Hello friends. I thought I’d share another Christmas card sample from my TV shows a couple of months ago, using the snowflake set from ‘Tina’s Christmas Elements’ by ClarityCrafts, just using one of the smaller single stamps to build a pattern on a one layer card. I’m going to share this one with the challenges at Peace on Earth and Addicted to Stamps

The first step was to mask the lower edge of a panel across a 5×5 card blank; I then repeat stamped the small holly heart from the set with black Archival ink – the easiest way I found was to mark the centre of the card with a dot on the tape, then stamp the centre image first and work outwards on each side. I ran a second piece of tape across the top of the panel and brushed ‘broken china’ Distress Ink across the hearts.

I then simply coloured the leaves with a green Pergaliner pencil and shaded the heart outline with a blue Pergacolour pen.

I added another heart stamp above the panel and coloured it to match, finishing with the sentiment from the ‘angels’ Christmas Elements set.

This would be a good one to batch make – Christmas is approaching fast… just 10 weeks to go!
