Hello friends! Here we are on the final leg of ClarityCrafts birthday weekend and it’s the big stamp launch this afternoon on Create and Craft at 3pm. I shared the ‘seashore scene’ stamps yesterday, so now I’ve got the ‘panoramic’ three-way overlay set for you. These images have already been available in stencils and dies, so it’s brilliant to now have them as stamps too! It’s also the start of our next challenge at Love to Craft and, as always, the theme is ‘anything goes’.

I’ve used three of the four images on this card and stamped the outlines on a piece of stencil card that I’d cut to fit on a 7×7 card blank. As with yesterday’s design, I placed the first stamp where I wanted it on the card then picked it up on a small mega mount, aligning the marking with the edges of the card so I could stamp straight down in the same place. I could then space the other two images in the same way.

I switched to the infill stamps, starting with the first image and sponging ‘peeled paint’ Distress Ink onto it, followed by ‘faded jeans’. I love the shading where the inks overlap.

I repeated the process with the infill stamps for the second and third images, again adding in a little ‘faded jeans’ for shading.

I wanted to put the sentiment from the ‘celebrations 2’ quotes set into the fourth quarter and decided it needed framing. None of the square embedders were small enough, so I found one of the nested embedders and decided to use the inner part. The challenge with this is that the inner edge works in the opposite direction to the outer one, so I needed to put it on the reverse of the card and emboss from the front. As that meant I couldn’t see the design, I sat it on teh front first and measured the depth of the embedder overhanging the card. I could then line it up on the back to the same depth and emboss the recessed frame. I hope that makes sense – sorry if it sounds complicated! Once I’d done that, I stamped the sentiment with ‘cobalt’ Archival.

Afetr all that, I wasn’t up to doing much more, so simply added a mount of Amazonia companion paper and attached it to the 7×7 card blank!

I thought this would make a lovely anniversary card, but you can make any style of card to share with us at Love to Craft!
