Hello friends. I hope you’re not bored with this series of Christams cards, as I’ve got another one to share with you today from the weekend’s ClarityCrafts launch! Today it’s the ‘mistletoe swirls’ stamps and I’m back in my happy CAS place, just using the two little leaf images in the set. This works well for Addicted to CAS‘ ‘nature’ theme as well as for Simply Clean & Simple (I didn’t take their option of adding a heart)

Nothing too complicated here – I simply masked off a panel on the front of a 5×5 card blank with a couple of strips of low tack tape and brushed it lightly with ‘bundled sage’ Distress Oxide. I kept the tape in place and randomly stamped the two sets of leaves & berries across it using ‘library green’ Archival ink, then shaded them with a green Pergaliner pencil.

I wanted to add just a little more definition to the panel so stamped the leaves & berreis a few more times on scrap card, coloured them in and fussy cut them. I then simply popped sime little foam pads on the back and stuck them over the images on the panel – that just breaks up the straight edges a little.

All it then needed was the sentiment, again in the ‘library green’, and it was finished!

Thanks for dropping in. I’ll be back tomorrow with something a bit different!
