Hello there and welcome to another look at ClarityCrafts‘ ‘calligraphy girls’ – this time they’re showcasing their wares on the catwalk! I thought it nicely picked up the dresses theme from Inspired By‘s inspiration photo.

So for this one, I stamped the three ladies and the sentiments onto a piece of card I’d cut down to fit a slimline card (UK DL size), using black Archival ink. I coloured their outfits using Pergaliner watercolour pencils, scribbling the pigment onto one of Clarity’s mix mats then picking it up with a waterbrush.

I wanted the ladies to stay the focus on the card, so simply edged the topper with a black Sharpie and attached it to the card blank. The final touch was to highlight their earring & necklaces with a gold metallic pen, but that’s difficult to see i the photos. A nice and easy card – the trickiest bit was just deciding where to place each of them so that the sentiments all fitted in!
