funky flower frame

Hello crafty friends. I’m back with another look at the new ‘funky flowers’ dies and adhesive felt from ClarityCrafts – this time I’ve used them to decorate one of their stampboard frames.

I started by cutting several flowers with the three smaller dies, layered them up and then attached them to the stampboard frame. Obviously the backs of the flowers were still sticky where they overlapped the frame, so I dusted talcum powder on the reverse after I’d attached them, which solved the problem!

I cut several more flowers with the two smallest dies and scattered them between the larger ones. I popped one of the quote postcards from the ‘our happy place’ set, gluing it to the frame and then attaching the stampboard back piece behind it.

Barbara will be on Create & Craft TV at 6pm & 9pm today, putting these goodies through their paces – the felt packs are designed for making coasters and mug rugs and you can check out the amazing creations from my design team-mates over on Barbara’s blog! I’m now off to share this with Inspired By for their current challenge.
