Hello crafty friends. I’m back with a first outing this year for one of ‘Jayne’s winter scenes’ stamp sets from ClarityCrafts, the ‘church’. I just think this is a gorgeous scene and opted for the neutrals palette from Color Dare, together with the ‘anything goes’ theme at The Holly and Ivy challenge

I stated with a square of kraft card, stamped the scene onto it with clear ink and heat embossed it with WOW’ white powder, before adding the sentiment in ‘watering can’ Archival ink. I then shaded in the church with a dark grey Polychromo pencil, using a white Pergamano pencil to add snowy shading across the hills and under the trees.

I then simply mounted it onto a layer of white paper and attached to a 6×6 kraft card blank.

No sign of a white Christmas round here! It’s been very mild and wet, but the forecast for the big day looks sunny.

I am a big fan of white embossing on kraft – such a vintage, beautiful look. Love the added white details, too. Your card is beautiful. Thank you for sharing at Color Dare!
