white roses

Hello crafty friends. I’m back today with an early peek at a new die and stamp launching tomorrow from ClarityCrafts, with the ‘roses’ floral aperture framer die and a sentiment from another set of the fab quote stamps.

I started by cutting the roses die, including the central aperture, into a piece of white card that I’d put a thin adhesive sheet on the back of (I use Stick It). I then fussy cut around the outer edge of the flowers and leaves to remove the frame and attached it to a 6×6 card blank (easy with the adhesive layer already on the back – just peel off the backing sheet)

All I then needed to do was add in the sentiment from the new Christmas quotes set using ‘bluebird’ Archival ink.

I love the detail on this die and I always think white on white looks so elegant! You can catch the launch of these on Create & Craft TV tomorrow (Wednesday) at 6pm and 9pm, when Barbara will be putting them through their paces! Until then I’m going to share this card with the dies challenge at Happy Little Stampers and with Simply Clean & Simple (I didn’t take their optional twist of ‘thanks’)
