Clarity craft club lookback – Noel framer die

Welcome to my crafty blog. I’ve finally found time for another dip back into Clarity‘s craft club and today it’s the ‘noel framer’ die set from November 2022. I’ve kept it very simple again for this one, inspired by a few challenges – Addicted to CAS want us to just use dies, Christmas Craft Creations still have their ‘metallic’ theme open, Peace on Earth are looking for anything Christmas related, and I took the colours from Creative Colour Challenges (swapping the yellow for gold), although I’ve managed to miss the deadline for that one!

I took a 5×5 card blank and used a square embedder to create a frame on the front. I die cut the ‘noel framer’ in gold card and attached that inside the frame (I’m getting better at remembering to put thin adhesive sheet on the back before cutting, which makes them so much easier to stick down!)

I die cut the tree from the set in green card, together with the boy & girl in grey, again putting adhesive sheet on the reverse before cutting. I cut the little pot for the tree in the grey as well, then stuck that on the green piece. All three then went onto the card front, overlapping onto the noel framer.

I love these kids busily decorating their tree. Sadly, this was the last in my craft club dies, as Clarity stopped producing dies for their club at the end of 2022. Next time I’ll be moving on to work back through my club stencils.
