Welcome to my crafty blog and another attempts at a grungy style card which has stayed clean and simple! The latest stamps from Clarity‘s craft club are a collection of splats – I thought they would work well with the colours from Color Throwdown and the sketch from Inspired by, plus another offering for Simply Clean & Simple

I started with Clarity’s hills mask, brushing ‘salvaged patina’ Distress Oxide between the two parts to create a wavy panel across a square of white card.

I then stamped the three different sizes of splats across the panel using ‘ripe persimmon, ‘salvaged patina’ & ‘mustard seed’ Distress Oxides, filling in the remaining spaces with the little dots in ‘chipped sapphire’.

I mounted the square on a layer of navy card, attached it to a 6×6 card blank and finished with one of the ‘occasions’ sentiments, again in the ‘chipped sapphire’.

Thanks for dropping in on this last Monday in September. I must be getting old, as the weeks are going by so fast!
