Hello crafty friends. Just a very quick post tonight after a long day of meetings and another one in a while! Here’s a card using Claritystamp’s ‘primrose’ three way overlay stamp set, that I thought worked well for the new challenges at Color Throwdown and Freshly Made Sketches

I started with a piece of card trimmed to fit a 5×7 card blank, and stamped the outline of the primroses image in grey ‘watering can’ Archival ink. I added Distress Oxides in ‘mustard seed’ and ‘mowed lawn’ to the infill stamp from the set, using sponge dabbers, and then stamped that over the outline.

I then inked the background stamp with ‘broken china’ to fill in the sky. I used one of the Clarity ‘frame it’ dies to cut a circle of dots around the image and popped a piece of grey card behind it.

I attached the whole piece to a 5×7 card blank and then added one of Clarity’s word stickers – these are so useful when you’re in a hurry.

I’ll be dropping this in to a friend who’s just had eye surgery, hence the choice of sentiment. See you tomorrow when I’ll have another creation to share
