Hello. welcome to my little crafty blog. Just a quick post today with a card I’m entering into the Freshly Made Sketches challenge 430. It’s first time I’ve entered a blog challenge, so lets see how it goes

This week’s sketch is a diamond shape, so I decided to use one of the square Claritystamp Fresh Cut dies (the casablanca lily) and angle it to form the diamond shape

I found a piece of card in my stash that I’d made using ink in shaving foam and decided to see how it worked. It cut the die into it, and then cut a frame with a larger square die

At this stage it didn’t look too great and I was in two minds about it. I decided to mount it on a navy blue background, and that really brought the colours out. I added a get well sentiment to finish off, as sadly I think the chances are I’ll be needing to send one sooner or later.

Hope you like it. Stay safe everyone

I think you made the right choice with the navy background! The flowers just pop against it. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches – hope to see you in the gallery again!
